Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CredFix AI ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not legal or financial advice

CredFix AI provides software tools, AI-generated letter drafts, and educational content. We are not a law firm, credit repair organization (CRO), debt collector, or financial advisor. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, or credit-repair advice. Consult a licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.

3. No outcome guarantees

Results vary. We do not guarantee that any item will be removed from your credit report, that your credit score will improve, or that creditors will respond favorably. You are solely responsible for what you send to bureaus, creditors, or agencies.

4. CROA disclosure

You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report yourself, for free, by contacting the credit bureau directly. You can obtain a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from annualcreditreport.com. The Federal Trade Commission publishes consumer guidance at consumer.ftc.gov.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your accounts.
• Only dispute items you reasonably believe are inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable.
• Do not use the Service to commit fraud, identity theft, or to dispute information you know to be accurate.
• Review every AI-generated letter before sending. You are responsible for its content once mailed.

6. Mailing services

We use Lob, Inc. as a third-party mail provider to print and mail letters via USPS. Once a letter is submitted for mailing, it generally cannot be canceled or recalled. Delivery times and tracking are provided by USPS and are not guaranteed by CredFix AI.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime from the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide pro-rated refunds. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, (b) resell access without permission, (c) submit false or misleading information, (d) use the Service in a manner that violates any law including the FCRA, FDCPA, or CROA.

9. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraudulent or abusive behavior, with or without notice.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREDFIX AI'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
